Takipnik is a band based in Denver Colorado. Their sound sits at the crossroads of alternative and post-metal, blending heavy riffs with atmospheric textures.
In August 2020, the band entered the studio to record their debut EP, The Biggest, a five-track release fusing hard-hitting synth rock with elements of heavy rock, punk metal, and grunge. The EP dropped in February 2021.
On August 4, 2023, Takipnik released their first full-length album, This Hypocrisy, which showcased a diverse range of material of instrumentals, interludes, and moody standouts like My Reflection.
In 2025, the band has unveiled three singles that highlight their evolving and changing sound: Seeing Red, a sharp and driving anthem; Dawn, a complex and atmospheric post-metal piece; and The Finding, which explored a more emotional, post-rock/shoegaze direction.
Takipnik’s third full-length album titled "Awakened" released on October 24, 2025 and is available for purchase on 180-gram 3-color vinyl.
